We pride itself on giving back to the community whenever we can.
We have worked with the Sertoma Club of Reno since 2003 fitting Washoe County School Children with hearing aids at no cost to the family. These children and their families have no insurance coverage for hearing aids or financial means to purchase hearing aids. These children are then able to benefit from the full educational process they would otherwise be missing.
We have worked closely with the Douglas County Senior Center volunteering Dr. Harjes’ time running a clinic monthly doing hearing aid screenings and consults with Seniors at no charge regarding their hearing needs.
We work with the Friends of Special Children dispensing loaner hearing aids to children under the age of 3 pending permanent hearing aids or surgery.
We work with the Sertoma of Carson City which provides a reconditioned hearing aid to patients at no charge to them who do not have the financial means to afford a hearing aid. |
